IVE SLIMMED DOWN. =D
Now Im off to run some errands then help with the Special Olympics event going on at our base gym. Today is a great day. =]

Work out for today
6 hours of cleaning my house.
I have to take a break for a while with exercising. I did barbell curls for the first time and in the middle of a set, my wrist wouldnt move and my left arm went rigid. Now my left bicep hurts so bad every time I go to straighten my arm.
At least the cleaning of my house caused me to sweat a lot. =]
Frustrated
So I worked on my chest and back yesterday and even tho it was hard to do in the gym as well as a hard work out, I woke up not feeling any of it. Mind you I barely stretched before and afterwards.
I asked a friend of mine who is a gym rat if I was doing the exercises wrong and he said I was doing them right. I didnt do a ton of weight otherwise I wouldnt have been able to lift my arms. Im just frustrated that what I did doesnt seem like it was enough. =/
Im also at that point in my work out journey where all I am is frustrated. I know these things dont happen over night and I dont expect them to. But when you are on your 6th week, you would hope that with the constant working out and healthy diet you would lose pounds not gain. Also that you would be progressing.
There is my frustration for the day. It is not stopping me from going to the gym today.

What I did today at the gym
Quads
15 mins on the treadmill
Smith Machine Squats - 4 sets, reps = 10, 10, 8, 6
Dumbbell Lunges - 4 sets, reps = 10, 10, 8, 6
Seated Leg Extensions - 4 sets, reps = 10, 10, 10, 10
Hamstrings
Leg Curls - 4 sets, reps = 12, 12, 10, 10 (50lbs)
Calves
Calf Raises - 3 sets, reps = 7 each way
Abs
Hanging Knees to Elbows - 4 sets, reps = 12, 12, 12, 12
Turtle Crunches - 4 sets, reps = 20, 20, 15, 15 (4 count exercise)
Toe Touches - 3 sets, reps = 15, 12, 10
The girl on the right is so unhealthy its sickening. Not body bashing. Bashing the fact that society thinks girls who are unhealthy is hot.
Gym
Cardio day for me.
20 mins on the elliptical (randomized levels)
10 min on treadmill at 5.4 mph
I got faster at running! Yay! Body hurts but I can tell I am getting better. =]
No matter how small of an effort you put into yourself, its so much better than nothing. Those small efforts make it easier to do more and more things. Keep at it! It all adds up in the end. Those small numbers become bigger and bigger. 3 pounds turns into 5 pounds which turns into 10 pounds which turns into 15 and so on. Before you know it, you are where you want to be. Dont ever give up and dont ever feel discouraged just because you didnt do that much. You did something which makes you that much closer to where you want to be.
